It might get a little noisy in the hills near the famed Shakespeare Bridge. According to Variety, founding member of Sonic Youth and all-around rock n' roll badass, Kim Gordon just scored a new home in Los Feliz. Over the past few years, she's been unloading the East Coast homes she once shared with ex-husband and ex-bandmate, Thurston Moore, to prepare for the big move west. Now, she's ready to settle into this 1936 Traditional on the quiet, winding roads of Franklin Hills.
The four-bedroom, 2,278-square-foot house provide some welcome tranquility for Gordon, who has spent decades producing walls of distorted noise onstage. The residence promises "Tranquil simplicity circa 1936" with its white picket fence and French doors opening onto a "breezy covered porch". It even has a breakfast nook! Gordon paid $1.55 million for the place.
