↑ A studio right on Hillhurst? What luck! This wee unit over retail in Los Feliz holds a walk-in closet, hardwood floors, and a stove and fridge that come with the unit. There's probably no parking provided, but there is on-site laundry. Rent is $1,375.

↑ Located just a couple blocks away from the Hollywood/Western subway station, this upper-level East Hollywood one-bedroom offers new stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, a dishwasher, and granite kitchen counters. The photos are all of a "very similar" unit, but if it's anything like this place, it's bright and roomy (narrow kitchen being the only exception). Parking is available but only for an added fee. Don't worry: "The neighborhood is vegan-friendly." Rent is $1,450.
