"Virtually Original" 1940s Cottage in Burbank Wants $495k

Though not expressly advertised as a fixer, the photos show there's a little bit of work to be done on this charming 1941 house in Burbank. There's a lot of great material here: tray ceilings in the living room, cove ceilings in the dining room, hardwood floors, and French doors leading out to the backyard. In the kitchen, the flooring is well-worn, the tile and cabinets are original, and the stove is "vintage." The one bathroom in the two-bedroom house also has its 1940s tile, plus a separate shower and bathtub.

The backyard holds multiple varieties of fruit trees, a long covered patio that might need some updating, and a "permitted workshop/hobby room" in the detached, two-car garage. The basics here seem to have been updated more recently than the Forties: the heater, roof, and electrical have been "Recently installed." The place is asking $494,700.
