While Jonah Hill may have rocketed to legit fame from teen-boy-centric comedy Superbad, he's hardly that disastrous kid anymore. Judging from his really swanky house, it kind of seems like the two-time Oscar nominee and The Wolf of Wall Street actor is, in fact, a sophisticated adult. Hill bought this dashing Mid-Century Modern pad, designed by Richard Dorman in 2010, and in doing so, became the second-ever owner of the place, which was built for TV actress Beverly Garland, says the LA Times.
The main house was built in 1959 and refreshed in 2012 by architect Padraic Cassidy; the property also includes a detached guesthouse. All together, there are four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Every room in the main residence has sliding glass doors that open to the outside, the listing says, and there are also "ebonized oak floors," a screening room, and a "Zen inspired" courtyard near the entryway.
The property also includes an enviable backyard with a saltwater pool, cabana area, outdoor kitchen, and space for sports (basketball hoop!). Hill bought the estate near the Briar Summit Open Space Preserve five years ago, paying $1.865 million. He's listed it now for $2.995 million.
