Here is Britney Spears's New 21-Acre Compound in the LA Wilds

Britney Spears is still rich and still famous (she's entered the Vegas phase of her career, just recently extending a very expensive deal at Planet Hollywood) and now after years in various boring mansions around Westside LA, she has gotten herself a proper celebrity ranch way out in the wilds of Westlake Village, the planned community that straddles the Los Angeles/Ventura County border.

The property sprawls over nearly 21 acres; the main house is a 12,464-square-foot "Italian Villa" built in 2000, with a library, elevator, and media/game room; there's also a separate pool house with its own kitchen and bathroom, a 3,500-bottle wine cellar, a tennis court, pool, spa, orchard, three-hole golf course, and if all of that isn't enough, "2 additional building pads." The place has been on and off the market for nearly a decade; TMZ reports that Britney got "a steal," paying $7.4 million. Homeowners association dues are $1,836 a month.
