We were pretty on board with this well-preserved post and beam in Pacific Palisades until we saw the salmon oven and the pink-fixtured bathroom. And then we were in love. As the listing says, the 1956 house is "wonderfully untouched"; it comes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a glass-walled family room, that kitchen "in impeccable original condition," a covered brick patio, and a "ery large yard that backs up to the hiking trail." None of this comes cheap: the house is asking $2.195 million. Whoever has that kind of scratch, we hope they ignore the listing's note about "Endless potential for updating, expanding, etc."
