This week's Cornerspotter really brought out the first-time commenters! The winner, first-timer annabarr, nailed it. Maybe it was the beautiful post office building on the left side of the frame or the famed city hall cupola that gave this photo away. (The city hall is most recently famous for its role as Pawnee City Hall in the beloved TV show Parks and Recreation.) The photographer was standing in front of what would now be the shopping center Paseo Colorado, at Colorado Boulevard and Garfield Avenue in Pasadena.
