Creek-Spanning Post and Beam in Pas Flipping For $1.5MM

New, 26 comments

One of four houses designed by engineer JW Putnam and built over a constantly flowing creek in Pasadena's San Rafael Hills, this 1955 post and beam was last on the market just two years ago. Sited on a .44-acre lot near Johnston Lake, the three-bedroom, two-bath house's features include vaulted, beamed ceilings, sliding glass doors, multiple decks, a step-down living room with wood-burning fireplace, concrete floors, an updated kitchen, full copper plumbing, a tankless water heater, and a one-car garage plus single-space carport. Last sold for $1.09 million, it's now asking quite a bit more: $1.495 million, to be exact.
