Jake Gyllenhaal Selling His Place in the Hills For $3.5 Million

New, 8 comments

Somewhere between being all wide-eyed in The Day After Tomorrow and all squinty in Brokeback Mountain, Jake Gyllenhaal took a little break from dreamboating to pick up this three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom house in the Hollywood Hills (for $2.5 million, according to Redfin). Nine years later, he is DONE with it, reports Variety. The house sits on nearly two acres and has "sensational panoramic views," plus a pool, detached office, "cameras with a security system," and a location "ideal for getting to studios and throughout much of Los Angeles." (Despite those celeb-friendly features, Variety thinks he may have been renting it out.) Gyllenhaal's asking $3.5 million; meanwhile, Curbed NY reported earlier this year that he's been browsing for real estate in New York.
