Bel Air's Stately Whispering Pines Manor Flipping For Triple the Price at $19 Million

New, 13 comments

Located on fancy Copa de Oro Road in lower Bel Air, this imposing Georgian was designed by the illustrious Paul R. Williams in 1929. According to public records, the house last traded hands on September 28, 2012, i.e., not quite two years ago; however, according to its new listing copy, a "Multi-year restoration & expansion [was] just completed." Previously described as having five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the .59-acre property now boasts seven bedrooms and nine baths, and "includes an oversized guest house & inviting pool house," as well as an "enormous car collector's garage." Last sold for $6.475 million, it's now asking almost triple that: $18.95 million.
