Ginger Rogers's Handsome 1930s Hills House Asking $4.5MM

New, 32 comments

Put on your dancing shoes for a tour through this retreat, owned in the late 1930s by talented dancer, singer, and Academy-Award-winning actress Ginger Rogers and her husband, actor Lew Ayres, says the LA Times. Situated above the Sunset Strip, the 1927 Spanish-Revival-style estate has no shortage of incredible views from both inside and the expansive outdoor spaces, which include multiple patios and an "outdoor living room," according to the listing. From the open-truss ceilings of the living and dining rooms to the "exotic marble, stone & custom italian cabinetry" of the four bathrooms, it's luxurious without being ridiculous. The five-bedroom house is asking $4.495 million, a drop from the $4.995 it was asking when it first hit the market back in April.
