The new Line Hotel on Wilshire has helped push Ktown into the cool stratosphere, what with its honeycomb exterior, Roy Choi restaurants, and write-up in The New York Times. We're not sure if this confirms that hipness or represents shark-jumping, but muralist Shepard Fairey has now outfitted a wall of the Line with one of his trademark murals. The 10-story "Peace Tree" is the first of a series of revolving works of art that will be featured on the building, and we've got a rad time-lapse video of its making.
