The Riverside-Figueroa Bridge demo is happening right now, and is expected to last until September, says Eastsider LA, which featured these amazing images of the gradual destruction taken last Thursday by TopViewPix, a photography firm that specializes in aerial real estate. Alex Vendler of TopViewPix tells Curbed there really wasn't any special reason he decided to turn the firm's tech on structure (their offices are near the bridge site), but he did anticipate that the resulting images would be interesting to the locals. Bingo. It's an especially dramatic sight considering just two months ago, the bridge looked a lot more...solid.
