Somebody partied too hard! (Actually, it seems like a serious call brought the fire trucks out; look at all that water.) The famed celeb hangout featured in this undated photo (we're guessing it's the 1930s or 1940s) was the last in a series of establishments opened by the same enterprising young man who is "credited with being the first to create the Oyster Cocktail," if the Los Angeles Public Library's archival notes are to be believed.
