From Whittier to San Pedro, Carson to West Covina, people are on edge about coyote attacks on pets and what they perceive as a generally increased presence of the creatures in cities and suburbs. Most everyone agrees that the coyotes are driven into towns by the horrible drought we're experiencing, but officials and residents can't seem to see eye-to-eye on a solution—leave them be, or something more drastic?
