Shhh, look, we've had a rare sighting of one of the most beautiful types of real estate gossip: pop star Justin Bieber is looking to move to a condo on the Westside. A rumor that Bieber—who recently fled Calabasas after egging his neighbor's house and is now attracting near-hourly police attention (and possible citizen's arrest!) at his fancy rental in Beverly Hills—wants to live in a part of town most closely associated with rich bubbies is a glorious reminder to us all of the wonders of fame, real estate, gossip, transience, death. And this is a particularly fine specimen: TMZ says that Bieber is planning on moving within the next two months to either a house (sensible) or a condo in Century City's very fancy The Century, designed by snoozy starchitect Robert AM Stern and home to such notable aging rich ladies as Candy Spelling.
Oh, look, the rumor's alighted here next to a little speculation: there are a couple of full-floor penthouse units open that Bieber might be interested in—this one for $25 million and this one, so exclusive it has no listing price. Both are more than 9,300 square feet with enormous terraces (1,900 and 2,500 square feet respectively) and will be customized for the buyer. Ah, goodbye, rumor, goodbye! Perhaps you'll come back and visit us again someday.
