Per the Listing: "This handsome Craftsman, built in 1908, is located on a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of Pasadena. Its main level offers a broad front porch, gracious living room, formal dining room, den, kitchen with breakfast nook, one bedroom and one full bath... Period details -- beamed ceilings, benches, double-hung windows, wood trim and five-paneled doors -- are found throughout. Recent updates include central heat and air, new electrical wiring and newer hardwood floors. In the back, the large, beautifully landscaped lot features patios, pathways, fountains, a stream and a wisteria-covered trellis, plus a detached single-car garage with workshop. Here is a wonderful opportunity to own a classic home in the Arts & Crafts style."

A beautiful craftsman with some slight misses on upgrades, in our humble opinion, specifically in the kitchen which has strayed a bit too much to the white side. But the tile work throughout is pretty spot on. North Pasadena (that's north of the 210 Freeway) tends to get a bad rap for being scary and gang ridden in some neighborhoods, but this little stretch along Claremont looks pretty decent, according to Google Street View. Maybe one of our readers more familiar with that area can offer some insight? Heh? The home last sold in 2004 for $696k.
