18 Photos and Vids of Dogs Hanging Out at Rosie's Dog Beach

New, 4 comments

As part of Outdoors Week 2014, we're looking to settle the question once and for all of Los Angeles's best dog park. Nominate your dog park for eternal glory by writing us a short description of what makes it so great and telling us why your dog loves it; send your noms to la@curbed.com. Meanwhile, we're rounding up the nominees all week and sharing loads of adorable photos (and videos) from each. Voting begins Friday.

Rosie's Dog Beach in Long Beach is the only off-leash dog beach in all of Los Angeles County, so for that alone it's one of the best dog parks in the area. It's only three acres, and only open from 6 am to 8 pm, but it's the number one place around to see dogs of all stripes paddling in the Pacific Ocean, and what else could you possibly be looking for? Here are 18 thoroughly delightful videos and photos to illustrate the wonder of our second Best Dog Park nominee.
