Mid-Century Post & Beam by Robert Kennard Asking $1.4MM

New, 5 comments

According to his 1995 New York Times obituary, architect Robert Kennard had relatively few private commissions over the course of his career. So we are very pleased to make the acquaintance of this 1957 post and beam Kennard designed on Wonderland Park Avenue in Beverly Crest. Sited on a .44-acre lot, the three-bedroom, two-bath residence features polished concrete floors, vaulted ceilings, paneled walls, a step-down living room with a stone fireplace and sliding glass doors, a solar-heated swimming pool, and a grassy yard with mature shade trees. Last sold in 2010 for $941,000, it's now asking $1.395 million.
