Welcome to Cornerspotter, a weekly Curbed game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into Los Angeles and its past!

This handsome brick building once served as a "lodge" and meeting place for important men, but also had shops and retail on the first floor. The photo, taken sometime during the 1920s, would have to be post-1923, when the building was completed. Since then, the still-extant building has housed a variety of different stores and hosted countless parties, and continues to do so. Think you know the intersection you'd find this historic gem at? Let us know in the comments!
