Good news for fans of Gerard Colcord houses, as there are right now a veritable crop of them available to rent, bid on, buy, or just drool over. The latest Colcord to hit the market is this Country Colonial on Bellagio Road in Bel Air. Built in 1940, the five-bedroom, four-bath farmhouse has been updated, but still retains many of the architect's signature flourishes, such as peg-and-groove wood floors, exposed ceiling beams, wood-paneled walls, Dutch doors, and fireplaces up the wazoo (there are five in total). Other features include a grotto-style pool with waterfall and flagstone motor court. Last sold in 2006 for $1.84 million, the .62-acre property is now asking $2.695 million.
