Try to remain calm: the leasing office for the Arts District's sinewy One Santa Fe has now opened and is "taking reservations" for the arts/residential/retail mega-complex. The first wave of move-ins is expected as soon as September; the highly-amenitized development, by local starchitect Michael Maltzan, will feature a "zero-edge salt-water pool" with custom cabanas, a rooftop garden, three whirlpool spas, and a private studio for yoga and spinning, says a release from the developers. There are also now floorplans for studios, as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom townhouses. The smallest studios are compact and cozy at 343 square feet—just 43 square feet above what would be considered a "micro-apartment." (The largest studios are about 670 square feet.) The prices are, well, high, but living in a starchitect-designed future "landmark" isn't cheap.
Here's the price list:
Studios (*343 to 670 square feet): $1,480 to $2,035
One-bedroom/one-bathroom (526 to 690 square feet): $1,980 to $2,410
