Block-Sized Olympic/Hill Mixed-User Hitting Its Seven Stories

New, 22 comments

Hill Street's long been a pretty barren thoroughfare through Downtown, but the Hanover Company's seven-story mixed-user should brighten it up a bit (especially if it sticks with the yellow and white paint job seen in the renderings). The TCA-designed project will take up the entire northeast block of Hill and Olympic Boulevard and will bring 281 units and 16,000 square feet of retail to the area when it opens next year. This is one of several stumpy mixed-users sprouting on Olympic; another recently started work just across the street. There was talk of a moratorium on this kind of squat construction in South Park, but that hasn't gained much traction.
