Sort of hiding at the end of the listing info is the fact that the home was designed by famed LA architect Welton Becket (see: Cinerama Dome, Capitol Records Building, Music Center, UCLA Campus, etc.). Also of note was that the architect and his family also lived in the home in the 30s and 40s -- there's an LA Times article from 1944 mentioning the family bringing new born baby Welton MacDonald Becket (now an architect in Orange County) to the home to meet older brother Bruce (now an architect in Los Angeles). The home is also a recognized historic resource of the City of LA.
