CENTURY CITY: Westfield Century City's $700-million makeover is going to be major. Set to be unveiled in spring 2017, the project promises 422,00 square feet of new retail space, 220 shops and restaurants, eight acres of outdoor space (including a new central plaza), 20 new residences across 10 floors, 3,375 new jobs, and 4,700 parking spaces. Rumored new tenants include Eataly, Tom Ford, and Nordstrom.

DOWNTOWN: DTLA Arts District's One Santa Fe has signed its first beauty tenant. New York-based apothecary Malin + Goetz—known for its unique array of the unisex skin, and haircare products—will join the massive mixed-use development's roster at The Yards in 2016.

CITYWIDE: Uniqlo's westward expansion continues. Before opening a slew of permanent SoCal stores, the popular global retailer of wallet-friendly apparel for men and women is set to open three pop-up shops next month. The lucky shopping centers are South Coast Plaza (July 3), Santa Monica Place (July 22), and the Beverly Center (July 31).
