Welcome to Cornerspotter, a weekly Curbed game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into Los Angeles and its past!

Ah, the good old days: hardly any other cars on the road, advertising slogans that rhymed ("The smartest buyers use Good Year tires"), and a now-trendy neighborhood looking pretty rural. Such was the landscape at this intersection in a photo from 1937. Today there's still a confusing T in the road here, but there are way more cars queued up. (Though that could be said of a lot of places!) Think you know where this intersection is? Tell us in the comments!
