Though The Broad art museum is going to be a little late in opening its doors to the public, work's still powering along on the building and now on the adjacent Broad Plaza. Now those 100-year-old olive trees, seen in the early renderings from architects Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, have arrived on site from their former home in Northern California to provide some shade to future museum-goers.
