New, 4 comments

Mid-century modernist/train enthusiast Richard Dorman designed several residences near the 52-acre Briar Summit Open Space Preserve in the Hollywood Hills, including this fine 1959 post and beam. Sited on a .33-acre lot, the 3,322-square-foot house features three bedrooms, three baths, vaulted beam ceilings, walls of glass, clerestory windows, stone and wood floors, a gym, and swimming pool. Last sold in 2009 for $1.985 million, it's now asking $2.649 million.
