Designed in 1975 by SoCal modernist Donald Hensman of prominent and prolific firm Buff & Hensman, this San Marino house underwent an extensive renovation in 2001, led by Hensman himself, along with designer Bob Moore. That remodel enlarged the house to its current 6,547 square feet, making what was already one of the larger Buff & Hensmans around even more spacious, according to the firm's website. The six-bedroom, six-bathroom post-and-beam just south of the Huntington Library sits on nearly one and a half acres and has a pool, a spa, a tennis court, strikingly beautiful stained glass windows at the entry, and an "enclosed Wok cooking facility." We first saw this house on the market last summer, when it was listed for $10.88 million, but now it's been cut down to $9.88 million.
