Ex-Dodgers Owner Jamie McCourt Finally Sells Crazy Holmby Hills Spread For $45 Million

New, 5 comments

After at least two years on the market, former Dodgers co-owner Jamie McCourt has finally managed to sell her main spread in Holmby Hills. McCourt's been trying to offload the 20,637-square-foot compound since 2012, first trying her luck with an off-market listing (reportedly), and then a public listing earlier this year. Looks like that did the trick, because the LA Times has heard that she's finally sold the Playboy Mansion-adjacent property for $45 million (about $10 million less than she was asking).

Equipped for "grand-scale entertaining," the five-bedroom, six-bathroom compound, on 2.6 acres, includes an art studio, a dance studio, an atrium, and an "Olympic-sized indoor pool." When the then-married McCourts bought the property in 2004, they paid $21.25 million and dropped another reported $14 million on renovations that included transporting the entire kitchen from their Massachusetts residence. Crunch the numbers and it appears McCourt made a paltry $9.75 million on the sale, not even enough to cover the Napa vineyard villa she's just bought.
