Rent an RV Across From Mariachi Plaza for $600 a Month

People who complain that there isn't enough affordable housing in Los Angeles are such a bunch of snobs. There are plenty of reasonable opportunities to live in the heart of LA: Take, for example, this private RV just south of First Street and Mission in up-and-coming Boyle Heights. The unit has two beds, one and a half bathrooms, WiFi, electricity, "amazing skyline views and you[r] own private rooftop," and, according to the Craigslist ad, it sleeps four comfortably, so you might be able to get a couple friends in here and really save on rent. Though street parking is free, monthly rent includes a lot (or a yard, depending on your outlook) on which to park your mobile Chevy apartment. The spot is right next to the weird space-themed MoonPad hostel (technically your landlords), so you'll be close enough to your neighbors if anything goes wrong, but far enough if you want some time away from the socially demanding hostel environment. Talk about privacy! Did we mention this unit is transit-adjacent and in a walkable neighborhood? Truly "[i]deal for new mover to LA that needs their own space." The rent is $600 per month.
