It took about five years and lots of false starts, but work seems to have really actually begun on the 20-acre Cleantech Manufacturing Center at Washington Boulevard and Fifteenth Street in southeast Downtown. Trammell Crow Company and Principal Real Estate Investors will finally build a 370,000-square-foot campus with three new buildings to house a fashion company and one other firm on the formerly-heavily-polluted site.
