The people of Boyle Heights love walking their dogs, but not enough of them like picking up after their pooches. It's such a nuisance that curbing your dog has become the focus of an awareness campaign in the neighborhood that has community members handing out plastic bags and info at the farmers' market on the importance of scoopin' poop. Says one resident, it's easy to see "if people are being responsible, because if they are, they'll have a bag in their hand." [BHB, via ELA]
