Given recent news that the median home price in Los Angeles is now at $400,000, we thought it would be interesting to see what we could find at that price level that was also having an open house this weekend. To be honest, the pickings were slim, but we did come across this Spanish style home with a handsome interior, close to jobs and transit, and featuring the de rigueur bars on the windows. It comes in below the $400k price point and is within a hop of the 10 freeway of the USC Medical Center. Let's call it a starter home.
