KOREATOWN: Ktown is hot, hot, hot, with the new Line hotel and its restaurant POT. Now, we have Escala, a new Colombian gastropub on Sixth Street that has soft-opened and will officially debut on April 24. Small plates are under $12 and main dishes run in the $25 range.
SANTA MONICA: Neighborhood treasure Milo & Olive has been inundated with admiring fans and now owners Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan are expanding their Wilshire footprint and taking over the retail space next door. Seating will likely be doubled and a new pizza oven added; the expansion should open in October.
ALL OVER: Exciting new restaurants are set to open all over LA, bringing in fresh dining options and reinvigorating neighborhoods. Eater tracks the most anticipated openings of the spring, including Mexicano in Baldwin Hills, the Arts District's Zinc Cafe, and Petit Trois near Hollywood and Larchmont Village.
