Tenants of 939 Palm Avenue in West Hollywood are reportedly ready to evict themselves from the unassuming building after a gruesome murder-attempted suicide was shortly followed by the hostage situation and shooting of an innocent man by LA County Sheriff's deputies. According to WeHo News, on March 29, Dr. Kurtland Ma was murdered and mutilated by his live-in boyfriend. Then, on April 10, Sheriff's deputies mistakenly shot John Winkler, a producer for Tosh.0 who lived in another unit in the building, after Mr. Winkler attempted to save his neighbors who were being held hostage in yet another unit by a knife wielding man.
