CBS Corp. CEO Les Moonves has bought Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen's glassy modern box on Malibu's Carbon Beach, aka Billionaires Beach. Allen bought the house for $25 million in 2010, but apparently "hated the sound of the ocean" (Ugh, so loud!) and didn't end up spending as much time at the house as he thought he would. Wow, ok. Moonves must not be bothered by the incessant crashing of the waves, because he paid $28 million for the 5,800-square-foot, five-bedroom house. Now, he'll be sharing Billionaires Beach with fellow ridiculously rich people David Geffen, Oracle CEO/collector of Carbon Beach homes Larry Ellison, and Eli Broad. Moonves already has a mansion in Holmby Hills and will use this new beachfront property as a "weekend retreat," says Page Six.
