The lovely old Robinsons-May department store at Wilshire and Santa Monica in Beverly Hills will be torn down to make way for the big 9900 Wilshire development, but not today. Various sources have reported that April 1 is demo day, but a spokesperson for the city of Beverly Hills tells us that no demolition permits have even been issued yet and a rep for the developer tells LAObserved it'll be more like late spring or into summer.
