If it passes, another Measure R-like, half-cent sales tax increase could provide $27 billion for rail projects, enough to build light rail through the Sepulveda Pass, connect Metro to Bob Hope Airport, convert the Orange Line to train service, and extend the Green Line through the South Bay and into Long Beach.
