Construction around Koreatown's Purple Line stops is bustling along, and between The Vermont towers and the now-stubby mixed-user slated for a few blocks east of Wilshire and Western, it's only fair (and predictable) that the Wilshire/Normandie stop gets some new residential action. While there sadly aren't any renderings, we do know, via Building LA, that there's a seven-story, 268-unit residential development with ground-level parking being proposed for the corner of Ardmore and Sixth Street, about a block north of the Wilshire and Normandie station. No word either on whether or not there will be retail at the street level, but we're hoping it will; this little quadrant of Sixth Street is pretty dead today.
