New Watermarke Restaurant, Ktown's Hip POT, Uzbek in DTLA

SOUTH PARK: Faith & Flower is taking the place of the closed and underwhelming Towne restaurant at the bottom of the Watermarke tower. Presented by the people behind Vegas's Rose.Rabbit.Lie and opening March 31, the food will have "global flavors and California ingredients"; the restaurant has a pretty stunning design from AvroKO.

KOREATOWN: The Line Hotel is at the epicenter of Ktown cool and POT is the much-anticipated marquee restaurant from Roy Choi. The place opened on Tuesday for lunch, offering soulful Korean cuisine that is both delicious and whimsical, with uni dynamite rice bowls, Kat Man Doo dumplings, and $11 noodle bowls.

OLD BANK DISTRICT: An Uzbek restaurant will be opening in The Market at Medallion, the indoor/outdoor shopping center attached to the Medallion mixed-user at Fourth and Main. The Samarkand Café should open this summer in a cute, 390 square foot space.
