Maybe it's all that shiny glass at Formosa South, the new five-story office building near Santa Monica Boulevard and Formosa Avenue in West Hollywood that's getting everyone from Oprah to Will Ferrell to sign leases at the place (actually it's the access to filming studios). Oprah's OWN Network, now based in Miracle Mile, will be moving into the Studio One Eleven-designed building soon, reports the LA Times, and Ferrell's Funny or Die website already announced it's moving into The Lot complex, the larger studio complex that Formosa South belongs to. Eleven-acre The Lot, formerly the Warner Hollywood Studios and United Artists studio, has seven soundstages, a commissary, offices, and post-production facilities. It's also in the midst of a major upgrade, with the new Formosa South building the most visible addition.
