Here's Hollywood's The HW, With Apartments Starting at $2,500

New, 42 comments

Two years after breaking ground on Hollywood Boulevard, just west of Fairfax, move-ins are starting at the newly-named the hw, courtesy of developer California Landmark (behind the similarly-named the bw in Brentwood and the lc in Larchmont). And the hw's 79 high-end units are already 50 percent leased, according to the developer. Designed by PK Architecture and Rios Clementi Hale, the hw is touted as "a tribute to classic California courtyard architecture, blending seamlessly alongside 1920s homes in a vibrant and energetic Hollywood neighborhood." All this attention to detail, along with the rooftop deck, gym, screening room, and short distance to Runyon Canyon, Sundance Cinemas, and Trader Joe's, will cost you: the 700-to-1,400-square-foot one- and two-bedrooms start at $2,500 and top out at $4,000.
