Color us shocked: the Santa Monica City Council narrowly approved the big mixed-use Hines development planned for the former Papermate factory recently, and now a group of Santa Monicans has filed suit against the project. The group suing is the Santa Monica Coalition for a Livable City, which hired one of the lawyers that overturned the Hollywood Community Plan.
