Don't panic, the Silver Lake singularity (Whole Foods moving in) is still on, despite some Ralphs employees spreading rumors to the contrary. In May 2013, the fancy grocery chain announced it'd be opening in the Ralphs space on Glendale Boulevard near Fletcher, and later reports said it'd be here sometime this year. But a local tells us that a Ralphs employee told her just this week "that Whole Foods has pulled out and won't be taking over the location." That would be alarming or a huge relief, depending on your sensibilities! But it's not true: A rep for Whole Foods tells us via email "we are scheduled for 2015." So a slight delay, but it's coming. Oh, it's coming.
