Jennifer Aniston's Hal Levitt Rental in Bev Hills Asking $9.9MM

New, 4 comments

This house, originally designed by modernist Hal Levitt but since remodeled beyond all recognition, is doing its best to chill you out, with its serene views, that bubbling fountain in the pool, and the bathtub that looks like an enormous ramen bowl (the ultimate comfort food). Perhaps that's what drew megastar Jennifer Aniston and beau Justin Theroux to rent this house in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood of Beverly Hills while they were going through a no-doubt stressful home renovation. We first saw the house in July 2011 asking $14.9 million, but by the time Aniston was renting (for an insane $40,000 a month), it had been chopped down to $11.5 million, reports Trulia. Today we see it, Aniston-less, pricechopped down to $9.9 million. It may seem steep, but consider what you'd get!

The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom residence is so fancy, it's full of things you didn't even know people needed: a stone-lined, temperature-controlled wine room; "floating appliance cubes"; hand-blown Venetian lighting fixtures; "hand-chiseled stone flooring imported from Tandoor, India"; and, in the master suite, heated marble floors and "his-and-hers baths featuring book-matched Calcutta Borghini marble." Now that you know these things exist, how can you live without them? You cannot.
