Imagine the listing for an apartment in the dark building in the foreground of this circa-1938 photo: Overlooks dirt lot. No parking. These days, that dirt lot's a church; there's probably still no parking. The one thing the apartments did have going for them back then was they were near a school. The old building seems to have been demolished, but that school's still around. But enough hints. Think you recognize this intersection? Let us know in the comments!
