Bruno Mars Pays $6.5 Million For Kazakh Heiress's Very Loud House in Studio City

New, 11 comments

Charming entertainer and Uptown Funk singer Bruno Mars has just purchased this ... eclectic house in Studio City's chic Fryman Canyon. The property, coincidentally advertised as an "entertainers resort," sits on two acres in a twice-gated community "w/a Beverly Park type feel." The 9,000-square-foot house has a wine cellar, a family room with a bar, a separate children's wing of the house with two bedrooms, and no fear whatsoever of bold colors or patterns. Then there's the roomy master suite, with two walk-in closets, steam and dry saunas, and a fireplace.

According to Variety, the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate was purchased in July 2013 for $5.7 million by the daughter of a major player in Kazakhstan; she turned around and listed it, redecorated in the vivid palette seen in the listing photos, for $7.787 million this past March. Mars paid $6.5 million for the place.

The entertainer still owns a much more subdued estate on Mulholland Drive that he bought in July 2012, paying $3.329 million.
