This Video of a Tornado Hitting Vermont-Slauson is Bananas

New, 12 comments

Before last night's intense storm headed out of town this morning, it dropped a small tornado on Estrella Avenue in Vermont-Slauson, tossing wood, trashcans, and a whole roof through the air, according to KTLA. "We looked outside, and everything was flying down the sidewalk. We saw the roof of the top of my building come flying off," said one neighbor. No injuries have been reported. Another neighbor, Jamie Mena, captured this crazy-ass footage, narrated with lots of bleeps and "ohhhh"s, and finally "I'm recording this, I'm getting paid for this!" because he is a modern dude who knows what's up. The National Weather Service hasn't verified the tornado yet, but ABC7's meteorologist thinks it was legit.
