Best known for designing the home that Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski rented in Benedict Canyon and for Frank Zappa's "Rock and Roll Tree House" in Laurel Canyon, Robert Byrd was also the architect of this house in Nichols Canyon, which, according to Blockshopper, is owned by Breaking Bad/Game of Thrones/Wonderwoman director Michelle MacLaren. Built in 1955, the woodsy Astral Drive residence features two master suites, "one w/ a sauna that opens out to the pool," while the second boasts a sitting room plus remodeled bath with "heated marble floors & Caesarstone counters." Sited on a .64-acre lot bordering Trebek Open Space parklands, the gated property is also blessed with some sweet canyon, city, and mountain views. Asking price is $3.5 million.
